Local Area Check (`localareacheck.co.uk`) shows publicly available UK open data for postcodes you look up. We do not ask you to create an account to use the core search.

Analytics. We may use Google Analytics (or similar) to understand which pages are used. That typically sets cookies or similar identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser.

Advertising. We may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. See Google’s advertising policies.

Affiliate links. Some marked outbound links, including home-connectivity or retail partners, may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them. That does not change the price you pay or the public-data evidence we show.

Postcode lookups. When you search a postcode we send it to our servers and to third-party open-data APIs (for example postcodes.io and Police.uk) to build the page. We do not sell postcode search logs as a product.
